Belldandy Unfinished

This is a prime example of an image that I really, really, really want to finish (and God willing, will finish someday), but despite my wanting to finishit, I've been sitting on it for over two months now.

The problem is finishing her clothes. I can't decide exactly what I want them to look like. I finally decided I'm going to use the outfit she wears that's like a combination dress/coveralls, but I can't seem to get my blasted imagination to visualize how I want it to look over her body...believe me it's most frustrating!

But...this is a good example as a part of the process I go through when drawing. As opposed to when I do drawings for my comic, "Pretty Momma" (something else I've been just sitting on lately) where I usually just draw everything straight up as it appears in the final version, when doing these kinds of drawings I semi-lightly sketch the subject as if they were completely nude first, then use that as a rough model for drawing the clothes over that. I find it helps to get the tight-stretched-clothing look that I enjoy so much.

Wow...it must be really late at night because I'm rambling. In any case, this pic will eventually find its way into my gallery proper in its final form. ^_~
